i will be using this topic in order to post only my maps that are in development.

wat are players feedback on my q3r_baozrscastles?

i am also planning on designing another map. it will be a heavily wooded region. it will support teamdm, and ctf, probably ffa, and possibly domination, though this is subject to change. currently, im working on implementing q3r code before i start development of my new map.

also, i am going to continue my mkart series maps, with the q3rally theme and new designs of course. i may make a separate pack for those who want the snes style textures.

looking through the q3r code it has come to my attention the max checkpoints is 40 but my q3r_mtmcdeath has 46, and it works, lol. i have come across the code regarding the control flow of the checkpoints. if i do alter this code, the bots will probably go apeshit because the code has many iteration of checkpoint. so if the changes affect the bots, it will take some more time for the bots to work if my alterations dont work out, as worse case scenario, well the game crashing is worse case scenario.

i will also make some snow covered tree textures by altering the existing tree textures. i wil probably make a snow theme version of my woods map.

hello all, i have been keeping myself busy with my new q3r_thewoods map and its proving quite time consuming due to high resolution terrain with out-dated software on an old machine. its very challenging but i kno it will work out well. the new textures are coming out ok but i might be better off using open-source, or public-domain, textures.

as far as coding is concerned, i will be setting that aside for the next few weeks. there is one more thing i want to attempt to implement but i need time away from coding and return with a fresh attitude.
