Q3Rally V1.4 Mod will not be released.

Yes. You read right. I will not ever release the V1.4 Version of the Q3Rally Mod. There are many reasons for that. The first is that i don´t want to release something unfinished. And the other thing is that i want to get Standalone with Q3Rally.

YES. IT´S TRUE. 

Q3Rally will get it´s own Engine. Basing on the ioquake3 code i putted together and merged their code with mine. And it almost work. Some Errors here and there., but it´s on a good way. Getting Standalone will bring so much more Options. Own Masterserver. Better Graphics? Higher Polycount on Car models and so much more.

Tonight i will delete all stuff from the svn that is not really GPL. The maps and cars affected by this will be released as AddOn .pk3´s so nothing is left or gone. It is only not longer part of the game. Thats it. So guys. Heads up and stay tuned for Q3Rally Standalone.

aww perle,  i thought we were really pushing for v1.4 mod release. i was really looking forward to it for a whie now. its too bad.

so then what are you going to call the standalone version and what number will it be?... something like "IOQ3Rally-S v1.0"? lol. who is it that's doin the standalone version? im still hard at work on q3r _forrest and another large scale map.

Keep up your work. It will fit also to the standalone. There will be no changes in mapping. I will do the standalone. It is almost running. Some small errors.
