Troubles on Linux+OpenArena

Hi,

I tried to run q3rally-1.33 with openarena-0.8.1 as shipped with fedora-12 (+updates-testing), however it bails out after selecting "mods->q3rally" with the following message:

6105 files in pk3 files


pak0.pk3 is missing. Please copy it
from your legitimate Q3 CDROM.


Point Release files are missing. Please
re-install the 1.32 point release.


Also check that your Q3 executable is in
the correct place and that every file
in the baseq3 directory is present and readable.

You need to install Quake III Arena in order to play

Any idea whats wrong?

PS: Thanks for working on q3rally. I've been waiting for an arcade racing game for Linux since arround 2001 or so, its so great to see that finally become true

It works for me at the same hardware

(well since xserver 1.5 and newer mesa packages the performance isn't optimal, have to run it at low res but i have a small laptop display, isn't ugly or something)

Perle, any idea?

And Linuxhippy, would be nice if you could try the offical binarys from openarena.ws, you dont have to compile it, just unpack
